The unveiling of LG V40 ThinQ early this month at an event in New York has left many smartphone users anticipating the company’s next flagship. The phone, which featured a military grade body as well as a triple rear camera setup fascinated many, not just those who attended the big event but smartphone users across the globe. The best news is that the company is now working on its newest phone that will feature up to four cameras at the back among other exciting features lacking in other smartphones.
A report that was released by a Dutch site called Let’s Go Digital hinted that the Korean electronics giant is about to release a smartphone with four rear camera setup. The patent design released shows that the phone may not have a flash at the back. A design for a total number of three phones has been published by the company, each featuring better and rounder edges than the previous one. The three models are just as similar as they are different from each other but the bottom-line is that all the designs are amazingly smart.
The most distinct features about the three models are their edges and bezels, with model C design featuring less bezel while its edges appear more rounded than designs A and B. All the three designs feature a fingerprint scanner beneath the four camera setup at the back of the phone. They however do not show any notch, which is a significant feature in LG’s V and G series smartphones. In fact the latest LG models V40 ThinQ and G7 ThinQ come with a notch.
It could be that the company plans to keep things a little old fashioned with its future models, which is why this coming model may be lacking a notch. But, the company is still keeping everyone’s favorite 3.5mm jack, which is an important feature in the upcoming model.
There are lots of other features that could be present or lacking in the company’s next smartphone but what is clear is that LG is already working on a new release that could be expected sooner than you can expect.
